Tiny stories about Freedom

Using Auto theory, magical realism, freedom dreaming, and autoethnographic research my team and I explored prison abolition and imagined new futures. In turn, creating Tiny Stories about Freedom: four future stories grounded in our experiences but ultimately set in the future.

Project highlights:

CO-DESIGN: COLORS OF NATURE

Facilitated two 60-minute co-design sessions to provide primary research for the Cook County Forest Preserve in their mission to uplift the Black and Brown community in natural spaces.

THE FUTURE OF HAND WASHING

Collaboratively designed a new system for health company City Health Tech to integrate their handwashing product into the food Industry with behavioral design methodologies.

Using storytelling, autoethnographic research, and freedom dreaming a process to imagine just and speculative futures through storytelling was developed.
